S3E10 — "Revelations: Chapter Two"
Air date: November 24, 2024 · Director: Jack Bender · Writer: John Griffin (story by Griffin & Jeff Pinkner)
Synopsis
Ellis Stevens realizes Elgin Williams knows where Fatima Hassan is. Boyd Stevens confines and interrogates Elgin at Colony House. Elgin admits he has been communicating with the Kimono Woman, who convinced him that Fatima's baby will set everyone free. Victor Kavanaugh takes Henry Kavanaugh to Miranda's grave and expresses his guilt over her death. Boyd interrogates Elgin violently, joined by Sara Myers, who forces him to reveal Fatima's location.
In the cellar, the Kimono Woman helps Fatima give birth, then disappears with the amniotic sac as Boyd and Ellis arrive. Fatima explains that the creatures were once the town's first residents, who gained immortality by sacrificing their children. Boyd descends through the hatch and witnesses the creature known as Smiley — the grinning monster he killed with his blood-worms in Season 2 — being reborn from Fatima's baby.
Meanwhile Jim Matthews, Tabitha Matthews, and Jade Herrera discover that the numbers in the bottle tree are musical notes. Playing them summons the children, who trigger memories of past lives. The revelation confirms that Tabitha and Jade once died as Miranda and Christopher — the two people who tried to save the children before them. Jim then encounters Julie Matthews in the forest, where a man in a yellow suit appears and rips Jim's throat out.
