Synopsis

Jim Matthews and Tabitha Matthews argue about the decisions they have made since arriving in the town — the risks, the secrets, and the toll on their family. The fight ends with Jim leaving to be alone.

The ambulance is emptied of its medical supplies, including a portable ultrasound machine, and brought to the clinic. Marielle Sinclair changes Randall Kirkland's bandages and invites him to stay with her and Kristi Miller so he does not have to live alone. Ellis Stevens confides in Boyd Stevens his concerns about Fatima Hassan. Kristi performs an ultrasound on Fatima — and they discover that she is not pregnant at all.

Donna Raines mourns Dale, entombing his body in a cairn of rocks, and Kenny Liu asks to move into Colony House. Against Victor's insistence that they go alone, Victor Kavanaugh and Henry Kavanaugh explore the tunnels beneath the town, where they find Jasper — the ventriloquist doll that belonged to Christopher, the man from Victor's childhood. They awaken some of the sleeping creatures and barely escape.

Elgin Williams takes photos of the Colony House residents and has a vision of the Kimono Woman, who claims she can help everyone go home. Jade Herrera discovers a second bottle tree in the forest, where he has a vision of Tom, the man crushed in the house collapse. Comparing the bottles, Jade finds that both trees contain the same numbers. Tabitha asks Jade whether she and Ethan can help him; she notices that Jade's drawings of the settlement closely match a recurring nightmare she has had since childhood.
