Tabitha's Search for the Children

Overview

Tabitha Matthews' long quest, beginning with her basement digging in Season 1 and extending through the tunnels, the lighthouse, the real world, and her revelation as the reincarnation of Miranda Kavanaugh. Haunted by visions of the seven children who chant "Anghkooey," Tabitha became convinced the children are imprisoned and that she was chosen to free them. The quest carried her out of the town and back in, and culminated in Season 4 with the recovery of the children's bones from the burial chamber — though the children themselves have yet to be freed.
