Synopsis

Randall Kirkland is brought inside Colony House, battered and furious. He angrily accuses Boyd Stevens of leaving him to die at the hands of the creatures. Kenny's group returns from the settlement the following morning, and Kristi Miller is taken to the clinic to recover alongside Randall.

Donna Raines tells Victor Kavanaugh that his father is alive and in the town. Distressed by the news, Victor is reluctant to engage; Donna takes Henry Kavanaugh to see Victor's room — a space filled with the drawings and objects that map Victor's decades in the town. The two men finally meet face to face and tearfully reunite after forty years apart.

At the diner, a town meeting is held. The majority of residents, instigated by Dale, quickly turn against Boyd. They demand to be taken to the bottle tree so they can escape the way Tabitha Matthews did — even though Tabitha's own escape remains unexplained. Dani Acosta later apologizes to Boyd for her role in the previous night's disaster; Boyd remarks that she only made things worse.

Elgin Williams confides in Julie Matthews about his visions of the Kimono Woman, and together they find a polaroid camera. Ellis Stevens catches Fatima Hassan eating rotten vegetables again, and she admits that something is wrong with her baby. At the bottle tree, Tabitha and Jade Herrera discuss their shared visions of the children. Dale arrives and, despite being warned against it, climbs into the tree. He is teleported into the walls of the town's empty swimming pool — and dies there. Boyd, arriving at the scene, berates the townspeople for turning against him when their demand for the tree has just cost Dale his life.
